Welcome to the Western Horse Registry
Annexing ALL the Western Breeds and their derivatives.
The WESTERN HORSE REGISTRY is for:
The WESTERN HORSE REGISTRY - Annexing all Western Breed Horses
Paint Horse, Quarter Horse, Appaloosa and their derivatives (except pony's)
Accepting of Registered &/- Foundation stock.
EXCLUDING HYPP &/- HERDA positive or carrier horses.
Unless you are showing at specific breed shows every other weekend, you do not see much return on your investment. The Western Horse Registry is a more economical option. This site also features an ONLINE STUD BOOK that will grow to include every horse in an individual horses pedigree, back as far as is possible to trace or to Thoroughbred.
HOW IT WORKS
All FORMS CAN BE FOUND ON THE ALL FORMS PAGE ON MAIN MENU
NOTICE BOARD
FREE STALLION ADVERTS
All current members are eligible for a FREE Stallion Banner Advert for 1 Year on the WHR web site.
(like the ones on either side of this page)
Simply send us a couple of great photos and a bit of info on your stallion to info@westernhorseregistry.com and we will do the rest.
Be sure to include your member number.
PRESERVING THE INTEGRITY OF THE BREED/S
After much deliberation the WHR have decided NOT to register HYPP or HERDA, positive or carrier horses.
IF YOUR HORSE CARRIES PROVABLE WESTERN HORSE BLOODLINES
IT WILL BE REGISTERED REGARDLESS OF HEIGHT
WHR will register your horse based on bloodlines NOT HEIGHT.
WHR understands that some Western Horse's mature more slowly and maximum height may not be realised until a horse is 7-8 years old and some do not make it to 14hh due to a number reasons.
POINTS AND AWARDS DELAY
ALL POINTS AND HI POINTS WILL NOT SHOW UP ON THE DATABASE UNTIL THE NEW SYSTEM IS IN PLACE AND THOROUGHLY TESTED. ALL HI POINT AWARDS WILL BE FAST TRACKED AS SOON AS WE HAVE THE SYSTEM WORKING & POINTS LOADED.
WE SINCERELY APOLOGIZE FOR THE DELAY, OUR SMALL GROUP OF VOLUNTEERS ARE DOING THEIR BEST.
Thank you to Tellena Hill of Edmonton in Queensland, for our NEW U-BEWT Show points form design !!!
If anyone else has suggestions or form ideas, please let us know. The only way this thing will grow and work is if everyone has their say.
The way in which the industry has embraced the WHR has been overwhelming.
There was obviously a need for the services it is offering.
